See document attached with the names of 3 illustrators.

Before you call them [ Jon has been specific about when you call him ] Check out the websites where applicable, and then have a list of points you want to discuss pre-prepared.

Maybe a brief introduction about yourself - Name, age, college/course. software programs and aims for the future etc. followed by anything you think they may be able to help you with.

Try to ask more open ended questions here - like

' What advice would you have for somebody at my stage? ' or

' How do you see the future for digital illustrators? ' or

' Should i try to create my own style or will I need to be a flexible all-rounder? '

Obviously you'll make your own mind up what to ask, but try to avoid anything that requires a yes/no answer - get them talking! You could ask how they got started in the business - that's always a good one to get them talking!

Hi Kachia.

Glad you got the E-mail.

It's Jon Liddell that asked if you could call in the early afternoon - I would guess that means about 2p.m. He didn't say what day, so whenever you like.

The others weren't specific, but I would avoid calling first thing in the morning!

I'll be in touch soon, Unbelievably I've been off work again with another virus - it's my first day back in today and i feel like shite! Babies - they just bring home a new cold flu or virus every week!!
